changing IP scheme need help with cutover for windows printers
by Guest obulldog27- 3 replies

We are changing our network IP Scheme so therefore our old network printer settings will not work. All our printers are installed on our w2k server and are shared out to users. If I just change the ip settings for each printer will I have to re-add the printers on each client or will this be a seamless change. Maybe there is an easier method to do this.

Hello, I have a question for a MS MVP. What is the maximum length of a command that you can put in a Windows scheduled task (its run field)? E.g. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/830473/en-us gives command-line string limitations for various versions of MS Windows but does not tell anything about the Windows Scheduler. -- rpr. /Robert Premuz/

Exchange Server 2003 is on four servers, 3 x BE and 1 x FE 3. AD used 4. Windows 2003 Server stand-alone server, in its own workgroup Issue 1. by Guest MountainBiker- 3 replies

My user needs to create 120 sub-folders on the share. The names for each are in Excel. How can I avoid the tedium of creating each one and automate the process? I found at least one 3rd party app, but it's $20 and just names each folder sequentially. Thanks in advance!
