Just upgraded to my 16 PM from 14 PM and the most annoying thing so far is the keyboard lag, it is not very responsive compared to earlier IOS. And overall system has been less smooth compared to iOS 17. Anyone else experiencing the same? If you do, any ways to improve the keyboard lag? I'm having an issue that I've researched a bit, and all of the solutions are settings that I appear to have set correctly. When my kids send me messages from their iPads, they go to my MacBook but not my iPhone. Other messages, like texts from my wife's iPhone go to both my MacBook and my iPhone. I've been travelling internationally for a week and my iMessage has suddenly stopped working for one of my contacts and I am constantly struck with the "Message send failure" or "Not delivered" error over and over again. iMessage seems to be working perfectly with most of my other contacts but not for this one person - what gives? A few days ago i factory reset my iPhone (let's not talk about why) and now i can't get my notifications / media volume setup like i want to. Basically, i want the notifications to make a sound but i normally want the media volume at 0. I'm 99% sure this is how it was before because i always kept the volume at 0 and yet, every time i turned the silent switch off, the notifications would play a sound. I never had to worry about the volume level. But now if my media volume is at 0 the phone only vibrates when i get a notification, despite not being in silent mode. As I continue with the consolidation of the tech sites in my network of sites I will be importing the data from PC Help Zone into ExTS. This is to further extend the reach of Extreme Tech Support. The end goal is to get the site back to the top where it once was. I truly believe I fractured this community by adding other tech sites. I am in the process of fixing the mistake. During the import the site might slow a bit or might not load for short periods of time. This will be short lived. I will keep you informed at each step. Thanks for understanding.
