i was making a video about running macOS Sonoma on a Mac Pro 2008. I had it connected to an CamLink 4k to capture the video for things OS installation via a DVI to HDMI cable, the exact model is this, an Amazon Basics cable. The HDMI end is on the Camlink, and the DVI end on the GeForce 760. I then discovered I was able to switch to 4k30 in Sonoma, something that shouldn't be feasible. Im looking to purchase & place a Mac Pro Rack version, Intel, in my serverrack in the basement and run 2x 20m corning optical thunderbolt 3 cables up to my office, where I have 2 XDR displays. After I woke up I tried to check the time on my phone. For some reason the screen was completely dark and wouldn’t turn on. I pressed the volume and shutdown button because I assumed that I’d somehow turned it off In my sleep, and it started vibrating and making an alarm noise. To cut a long story short, I’ve created a shortcut to replace it, but you must install a text file with all the NSFW subreddits listed in it for it to run as a prerequisite. I love the new customizable full screen contact photos, but I have a problem where in my messages app, profile pictures of my friends are cropped weirdly. If I try to fix the crop and save it, it stays for about 10 seconds and then switches back to the messed up cropped picture. The attached picture is just supposed to be of the woman. Good evening all I recently formatted the drive on my my Macpro (4,1-5,1 dual cpu) running Monterey so I can sell it with a clean install. And When I went to install Monterey through the USB INSTALLER I got a message saying “A required firmware update could not be installed.” Went ahead and turned ON the VMM flag, and turned OFF SMBIOS spoofing in the config file, and I continue to receive the same message when trying to install… I’m really confused as I’ve had Monterey installed on here... currently have an old iPhone 6s and need to upgrade to maybe an iPhone 13 mini or go back to new android. Big advantage with android is that it can play audio with VLC, my most familiar and ‘easy’ to use music app. Yes apple does that as well, thing is with the screen switched off, it won’t continue playing the next track.
