I have no idea if this is the proper place to ask this or how to properly organize/tag this, if this is clogging the sub or anything please let me know and I am happy to move/delete the post and instead ask where it is appropriate. As the title says. Since the newest updates to the native Mail app, self-signed SSL certificates don’t work without certain tweaks (SAN), meaning my work emails don’t work at all in the native app atm. Although the sysadmins have been notified, until they rectify the issues their end, I’d hugely appreciate recommendations for another good mail app that supports multiple accounts with different providers. So I bought a wireless mouse at 5 below thinking I could just pair it with my iPhone but I was wrong so I connected the usb with a connector I have and the mouse works when it’s connected to my phone but my on screen keyboard goes away. I took my iPhone to the Apple store for a hardware repair, and in usual Apple fashion I ended up with a new (replacement) device. I backed up my old device onto iCloud, and restored it. This is my first time doing a restore, and I expected to pick up where things were left off. However, I found myself having to re-login into many apps (eg Messenger, Google, etc.) although some apps were already logged in (eg Strava). I also had a weird Strava sync issue where my Apple watch would sync Strava activities into the ether, because it disappears off my watch but doesn't appear on my phone. Is there any fix for the bug with iOS 18.1 in which screenshots, wallpapers, the all switcher, etc. get oversaturated? Everything seems to be exceptionally stable other than the first few days had the GPU fan cranking its way up when in sleep mode. That has corrected itself somehow, so the only thing left on the list is a strange pixelation when dropping down username / password forms and taking partial screenshots of the screen. I'm having trouble with the latest version of Lightroom Classic on my cmp. The config is the following: 2x Xeons X5670 XFX RX590 96GB DDR3 MacOs installed in a SSD Crucial P3 on a OWC Accelsior. It simply crashes on startup. I've tried it on Sequoia, Sonoma and Ventura (all with OCLP 2.1.2 and 1.5.0) on fresh formated setups. Photos taking up too much iCloud & iPhone Storage

I about 3000 pictures, and 130 videos (most <30 seconds, about 20 vids up to 2 minute videos) on my Photos app. I have iCloud storage, where Photos takes up 26 GB, however Photos takes up 52 GB of my iPhone storage. I've confirmed "Optimize iPhone Storage" is turned on and everything is synced to iCloud, yet so much of my iPhone storage is still being taken up by the Photos app. Are there any tricks for photos to not take up iPhone storage, or at least heavily reduce it, or do I just have too many photos/videos? submitted by /u/misha-nicu [link] [comments]

When I first got my iphone, I was able to crop with some assistance for lines. IE, if I screenshot a meme and go to crop it, it would automatically snap to the borders of the meme. Whenever she tries to open the messages app, it just sits on a black screen for 15-30 seconds and then crashes. This also happens when she tries to access any setting related to the messages app in settings, it turns the screen black and crashes the app. She has tried restarting her phone, resetting her phone, and she’s currently on call with Apple but from what I’ve read online this was an issue in the past and they’re no help. About a month ago, our iMessage group chat randomly split into a second chat—identical in name, but with no chat history. Every member of the chat left/deleted the duplicate chat. In the last weeks, this issue has become a near-daily occurrence.
