iOS 18 not forgetting bluetooth devices

I foolishly added both separately. So I told my iPhone to forgot both. I've restarted the iPhone. I've reset network settings. I've reset the earbuds. As soon as I turn on bluetooth again on my phone, it shows each earbud separately, but clearly hasn't forgotten them. Those are custom names I gave each. It normally would show a generic name the first time. Anyone else seeing this? B…

Time Sensitive Notifications on iOS 18.1
by Guest /u/daunt__- 0 replies
Has anyone noticed a delay in getting notifications that are marked as time sensitive since upgrading to 18.1? I first noticed it on Microsoft Authenticator, I get push notifications when logging into certain apps which previously were near instant but now can take around 10 seconds. I’ve also noticed it on other apps like banking apps etc If I have the app open, I do get the notification immediately as I did before. But if the app isn’t on screen there’s a noticeable delay. The apps all have ‘Time sensitive notifications’ enabled so the notifications should deliver immediately. I’ve only noticed this since going to 18.1, not sure if this is a bug or by des…

Did I get a good deal on my M1 MacBook Air?
by Guest /u/Clizzardbash- 0 replies

So I currently have a 2017 MBP w touchbar (i5 512gb/8gb) and I found a deal for a M1 MBA (M1 256gb/8gb) for $350. Just bought it and wanted to know if I made a good choice. I wasn’t really in the market for an upgrade but I felt that was a steal. Suggestions? submitted by /u/Clizzardbash [link] [comments]

This has been one hell of a laptop, can't think of a windows laptop lasting 10+ years. Starting to become sluggish and doesn't support the latest OS, so it's becoming a pain. Will it be a significant upgrade going to the MBA Base 16gb? submitted by /u/HomerJay56 [link] [comments]

I don't speak Korean, don't know anyone that does and more importantly, no one has handled my phone but me in the last two days. I was able to change it back; what I want to know if what could have caused this to happen. Could this be a sign of some kind of hack (idk if that's even possible)? Should I be concerned about this? submitted by /u/thespaceghetto [link] [comments]

iPhone 13. When talking on the phone, the interlocutor complains that only big noises come from me. You can't hear me at all. If you record it on a dictaphone, then the speech is normal. If you record it on video, then the speech is very broken and with interference. Resetting the network settings helps and everything becomes OK. Time passes and strong noises begin again when calling. Even in the middle of a conversation, they can start... it turns out that the problem is not with the... Read more Continue reading...

Mac Pro 2009 boots/chimes then shuts off

After successfully installing and using Monterey via OCLP on my 4,1->5,1 for a couple of weeks. I decided (big mistake) to switch to Opencore 0.7.6, to use the Thunderbolt card. Now I'm unable to boot my machine. Even after booting 4 times (PRAM) the screen never turns on and then shuts off before displaying anything. The Mac Pro (2009) has been modified with the pixlas mod and I'm using a 5700xt. 48gb RAM, dual 5680. One blank SSD in the Bay 1, with High Sierra installer on a USB. Anyone...
