I put my PC in sleep mode. When I came back, I found that my PC had restarted since everything was closed. I checked Event Viewer, and it said there was a Kernel-Power error, so apparently something went wrong. Is it normal for this error to appear? So I keep getting a BSOD everytime I launch Delta Force or Withering Waves, any other game works perfectly fine. I believe it has to do with the anti-cheat but my friends can play these games just fine. My specs are Cpu: Ryzen 7 5800x3d (Not overclocked but undervolted and I did try to launch the games without any overclocks or undervolts) GPU: AMD 6700xt. I did also try to reinstall windows 11 but without the clean boot options so I kept my personal apps and data but that still did not work. I foolishly accepted a popup offer on my windows 11 Home to turn on backup for backup and restore about a year ago. Who doesn't want to be able to restore all my files in case my laptop dies?But it hogged all my bandwidth and was continually slowing down my computer so I want it off. I have spent many hours trying to solve what I thought was a printer configuration problem. It turns out that there is something more fundamental going wrong. I can ping my Epson printer from my Windows 11 Pro desktop and a Windows 10 Home laptop, but not from my new Windows 11 Pro laptop. The computers can all ping each other except that the two Windows 11 machines cannot ping each other in either direction. All computers can ping themselves and 8.8.8.8. It appears that my account was closed 6 days ago. I'm not sure if this was done by microsoft, and why was it might have been done. Many of my one drive files appear as being only on the cloud, so I can't access them. Who can I contact at Microsoft to re-open a personal account, I can't talk to the 365 team, as they can't do anything about personal account? Opened Minecraft Launcher to a message: "This app can't open." Signed out of MS store, repaired it, then logged back in, it worked fine. But for some reason I couldn't open Minecraft Bedrock Edition as it would be stuck on the "WAITING FOR INSTALL" after clicking it. I have been running into a lot of different BSODs while I've been using my computer for the last couple of months. Hi all,So, I tried this update (KB5046732) and right after I login, my screen turns black for like 5-10 min. I can see my cursor and I can do Clt-Alt-Del and then ESC but it doesn’t do anything. I’ve restart it and it will do the same again every time. But when it finally comes on, it works just fine. Is this update going to be required? ...without having to reinstall the entirety of Windows 11. My Asus machine has random freezes and scheduler issues where the whole system will pause for moments at a time after installing 23H2 specifically, even neglecting keyboard input. This is not acceptable for a Pro license in a business environment. Do you need kernel level software/hardware specialists to fix your ragged CPU scheduler? Because that's all this is. After 12/11/2024 24h2 update our quick books point of sale 18 pro stopped working. when we start the app, message appears "quick books Desktop point of sale got stuck for a second and didn't respond to your request. Please try again." and it won't even have option to close the application. In prior versions of File Explorer (e.g. Windows 7) you could easily search files using Filters. In Pictures using Search Filters like "Date Taken" or "Tags" by placing the cursor in the search window and pressing enter. If you chose the Date filter a calendar/date range pop up would facilitate that. More importantly if you selected the Tag option a list of all Tags in my Pictures folders would pop up to choose from. How do you do that in Windows 11? If this advanced filter functionality has been removed, there should at least be some way of getting the list of all the tags I've created in Continue reading...

Hello all,I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3520 running Windows 11 24H2. Everything was fine until last night at the time of turning off my laptop, it performed an update. Since this morning, I can't get my Wifi to work. I thought it was a modem problem but every other device works fine - another laptop (Linux), my mobile, Google Home. I'm experiencing frequent computer crashes, which is unusual because the system remains stable during gaming. This suggests the problem is unlikely related to overheating. I've already gone through an RMA process with my GPU, replacing it entirely, yet the crashes persist. Since I have a small form factor (SFF) PC, I suspect the PCIe 4.0 raiser cable connecting the GPU to the motherboard might be the root cause. Hello. Anytime i connect an HDMI cable to my laptop the computer crashes around 20 - 25 minutes later. The blue screen mentions: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, on top of this my touch pad stops working when HDMI cable is plugged in. Sometimes this is instantly and other times within several minutes. hello,I see this in Event Viewer every time I boot the computer. I read conflicting information on whether this is actually an error or problem online.It just says information. Is this bad to see after every boot? Does this mean I have a problem with power and the processor? I do have an issue I can't solve where the computer sometimes won't turn off after shutdown.
