Continue reading...

Hi there!I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to reach out because I’ve been having some trouble with my Windows system lately. I keep encountering those pesky blue screens of death (BSOD) and my GPU has been shutting off randomly while I’m using it. It’s been pretty frustrating because these issues pop up unexpectedly, even when I’m just doing simple tasks.I think there might be a driver conflict, a software compatibility hiccup, or possibly some faulty hardware causing these problems. I’m considering trying a clean boot to see if I can pinpoint the issue, but I’d love some advice on whether th Continue reading...

I followed the steps described in Restore old Right-click Context menu in Windows 11 to first restore the Windows 10 context menu by running "reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve." Right after that, I removed that change to restore the Windows 11 context menu by running "reg.exe delete "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}" /f." I now like the Windows 11 context menu after getting used to it. It worked fine until running the latest Windows updates today. After restarting the computer, the conte Continue reading...

Headphone microphone is turning itself on anytime I open up a video on youtube or listen to a song on spotify, anything that has sound in it makes it turn on no matter how many times I turn it off and half of the screen freezes sometimes at random times for no apparent reason, happens likely when alt tabbing but also happens sometimes when I don't even use the alt tab feature, this is too annoying and it needs to be fixed. I'm already running the latest version of windows updates and drivers for my headphones and graphics card I regret updating to 24H2. Everything was fine in 23H2. Continue reading...

Hello,I've been having a problem for a few weeks that I can't seem to solve in any way.Mainly the problem involves two aspects of the operating system, or at least that is what I understand. The first involves the management of the printer and any of its interaction with any program. If I try to send to print, view a print preview of any document, using any program (from Office to google document viewer or any browser), or export a word document to PDF, the program I am using crashes. It freezes and I am forced to close it with the task manager. The same thing happens if I try to install or search Continue reading...

Hi,I have a ZenBook UX425EA_UX425EA laptop (11th Gen Intel® Core i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz, 16 GB RAM, 512 G SSD.) that has been extremely slow in performing common tasks since yesterday, such as simply opening Word, Excel, FileExplorer, etc. Computer resources are not burdened. Windows update to 23h was started yesterday and a colleague who is using the laptop has been almost unable to work since. Today, the update to 23h is ongoing now, but I am wondering if it will solve the problem?I would appreciate any real recommendations to speed up Windows 11 Pro. I would like to find the exact proble Continue reading...

I have an Ideapad Gaming 3 15imh05, bought it around 2020, I have it for four years now. During the year 2022-2023, when I play heavy games like Warthunder, Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail in those current year, these are the only heavy games I play. When I launched either of those games, in the first few minutes, the screen and the audio becomes very "laggy", and another few minutes it'll be less laggy, and around a few more minutes it returns back to normal. The whole process probably takes around 10 minutes or so for it to return back to normal. The problem is, it's not just the game that Continue reading...

My Laptop has been having this problem for a while now.It stops typing randomly and I'd have to open and close the computer again. It sometimes takes a while for the computer to stop typing. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes, and sometimes it just doesn't type at all. In this state, when I double click an app, it opens its properties, and when I try to load up a website, It downloads it. It just acts weirdAlso, the backspace key never works, even when I am able to type.Whenever I restart my laptop, it shows smart hard disk 1 error(301). I'm wondering if it has to do anything with this. Continue reading...

I sent my dell XPS 13 2 in 1 back to dell and they replaced the motherboard. When it was returned, it said I need to use a recovery key because bit locker was activated. I never set up bit locker on my computer and when I log into my Microsoft account and click on my device then i click on view BitLocker Keys, it says no keys were found for this device. Where would I locate this key? Would Dell Have it since they replaced the motherboard? I Never set up Bitlocker when I got the computer so I am not sure why it did this. Need to access my drive for work asap. Continue reading...

Hello everyone,I’m encountering an issue with my Windows 11 system as described in the title. After a system update, my desktop wallpaper resets every 10 minutes to a default system wallpaper (see top image), and I cannot stop this behavior. Everything was working fine until around two months ago.I noticed that several others have faced a similar problem, but it seems no permanent solution has been found yet. I’ve tried many fixes suggested in forums and other platforms, but none have worked. Below is a summary of the methods I’ve attempted and their outcomes:Changing Background Settings:Path: Continue reading...

Hello everyone,I recently installed Windows 10 on my dad's ancient PC because 8.1 didn't cut it anymore. Due to its customer-hostile design I had to create an online account for my nephew to be able to set time limits. However, family safety isn't working right. Though it worked alright on day 1, ever since Windows keeps demanding him to sign again so he can ask for more time whenever he just logged in. It also demands a second email address for verification, which I think is ludicrous for a child account. Getting a separate email account for a 9-year old is inherently questionable to begin wit Continue reading...
