Why can't microsoft give us a solution that will help get an update for windows defender. I have tried everyything that has been suggested but nothin

This is sooooo disgusting that microsoft can't give us a proper solution for what they did sometimes in November 2022 to my documents in word pad. I have some very important information that will not open in word pad so I can print it and modify it but it will not let me open it. I guess it has something to do with the problem of not being able to update the malware update for windows defender. It happened about the same time I tried to update the antivirus update it showed I needed. I have tried recovery from different dates but nothing works. I tried to modify a document on December 10, Continue reading...

(Windows 10) So whenever i open my laptop (i always completely shut it off when im done), i can see the taskbar windows security notification has a green checkmark, then after a second turns to the yellow warning thing then after 0.1 seconds goes away again. Does anyone know if this is just a glitch or malware stopping Windows security from actually detecting things? This happens often and i have no idea when it started. Vicious malware attack after repairing a system crash because my drivers would not update automatically. I did get the update and repaired my system but lost my purchased software. After repairs were done I decided to retrieve my old software and while downloading from one of the actual software site I received a message telling it had a virus, I had that software the whole time I had Windows 10. Defender never picked up any virus, having run the program hundreds of times. I get a hair brain idea to get a temporary antivirus to disable Defender until I had the software installed. Defender no Continue reading...

I seem to have a deep infection, I'm having trouble getting rid of it.
by Guest 0ct0tron- 0 replies

My issue initially began with some irresponsible internet behavior, which led to compromised credit cards and basically every login I have. I though I had my pc clean and all of my accounts secure (and for the most part they are), but it was bugging me that Malwarebytes kept flagging the same 7 issues, over and over. Six registry values and one registry key, all related to internet connection configurations. Windows Defender came back clean, ESET came back clean, so I chalked it up to false-positives. A few times before then, I'd notice my internet on my pc is drastically slower than anyth Continue reading...

Behavior:Win32/CoinMiner.I, Behavior:Win32/ExcludeProc.A, and VirTool:Win32/ExcludeProc.D those three threats get repeatedly detected and get supposedly removed by Windows defender. But every time I start my computer they get detected and "removed" again. I have tried running other anti-virus programs such as MalwareBytes and used the Tron script but they still show up, I have also tried a FRST fix by _AW_.Here is my FRST log:FRST_13-12-2022 20.05.39.txt Continue reading...

Avira Antivirus not opening
by Guest Veronica143- 0 replies
I have a win10 laptop, and Avira will not open. I've tried everything I could, but some methods are restricted. I don't have Avira.ServiceHost.exe, and they say that might be the problem, but I don't have the permission to uninstall the app. I got Avira (free version) because I got a Russian Hacker bot a few days ago, and my laptop is still acting weird, like opening and closing apps randomly weird. Avira says there is "5 issues to fix", but when I can get the app to open, there aren't any issues to fix. What is up with that? Continue reading...

My email was scammed and I have discovered that my emails were being forwarded to two email addresses belonging to the scammer. Is there an easy way to report the hotmail address to Microsoft without having to enter credit card details. Continue reading...

Hi Community My wife is a Property Professional and she has been given a Malicious Virus that could be a Data Breach of huge proportions. After we discussed the situation we worked hard to get rid of the Virus that appeared to have infected the Desktop with Microsoft Software. We recorded everything and will take the PC to the police. If we can trace this back to a person can they face charges??Regards now there has been an email sent that appears to be traceable so perhaps this individual can be asked questions by the according Law Enforcment *** Email address is removed for privacy *** Continue reading...
