Both Magican and CleanMyMac can cleaning the unneeded files to keep Mac in order. However, difference still exists between them. If you have experienced these two Mac applications, you will be able to differentiate the two applications on basis of their features. CleanMyMac focuses on sweeping the files you does not need away to keep your Mac clean and health. They are logs, cache files, universal binaries, system junks, useless languages, leftovers and uninstalled application. You may consider it to be very versatile software. After you have used Apple computer over months, your Mac system may appears to be slow with unwanted caches, useless language packs and binaries. Hi all, I am having a problem with my Mini. Just started this past weekend. I ran the disk check 3 times and received the following error code: 4HDD/11/4000000:SATA(0.0). I got this on the first test only. After the first one it came back clean with no other messages. Now here is my problem that I noticed first, I got a message onscreen that said my PC encountered a problem, push the power button in to restart your PC. I have done this several times without success. What I have found though is that if I have my glass mouse powered on or my touch pad powered on it crashs. I currently have a wired mouse attached and it seems to be working correctly. WiFi is working OK an…

If you keep using the system after deleting files and emptying Trash Bin, you greatly increase possibilities of file overwriting with the every minute which passes. For assured recovery of lost, missing, and deleted files from Mac OS X hard drive and other supported storage media, use third-party Mac Disk Recovery applications. iPhone 5 Release Date

The built-in applications of this Operating System can run in 32 bit mode on 32 bit machines and in 64 bit mode on 64 bit machines. The kernel of Snow Leopard has been designed to run in 64 bit mode and support 16 terabytes of Ram on some machines. 64 bit kernel of this OS will run on Xserve and Mac Pro machines by default. iPhone 5 Release Date

A Korean company, Playmass has announced the launch of an interesting new accessory for the iPhone 3GS. It's called iSeeU, which will allow iPhone 3GS users to make a video call - minus the awkwardness that comes with it. Since the iPhone 3GS comes sans a front facing camera, making a video call isn’t actually very pleasurable experience even after the arrival of a plethora of apps that allows iPhone 3GS users to do so. iSeeU solves that problem by attaching itself on to your iPhone 3GS. I've been running an eMac that is nearly 10 years old, and, while its still kicking, I needed to upgrade finally. So got a used macmini (mid 2010), because I can't let go of the CD/DVD world yet. It's like new, running Lion, and is connected to a 24" RCA LED LCD HDTV. My problem is that in trying to carry over files from my old emac to the mini, when I plug in a flash drive (anywhere—Gigaware 4 port, back of the mini, keyboard) it will not show up on the desktop. I will be able to see it in DiskUtility, but even after reformatting, it won't show up. What can I do? I realize I have other options to swap files, but still would like to have my flash drives work. Thanks fo…

Hello, I'm facing some problem with my mac mini audio setup. I bought a new mac mini about 15 days ago. I tried to connect it to my AV digital receiver (ONKYO TX-SR608) via HDMI in order to get 5.1 audio output. But the only thing I obtained is a stereo output. In midi configuration all the multi channel audio options are disabled. The only one that is selectable is the stereo option. On the other hand in VLC audio set up the multi channel option is selectable but if I click on it the program (and the played dvd) hangs up. Yesterday, tired of making continuous efforts in order to get the multi channel signal from the HDMI interface I bought an optical (toslink) cable…

It started when I hooked up a Lacie drive to backup all my pictures with a Firewire cable. Not sure if this is what started the problem or it is a coincidence. It is not connected at the moment and still having problems. I have zapped the PRAM. I tried to reboot in safe mode and it would not work. Can't find a startup disc. Any suggestions on how to find out what is causing it to run slow. Some symptoms are: Safari and Firefox running real slow ; spinning rainbow wheel a lot. Icons disappearing from desktop only to r…

I want to mount my Mini on it's side. If you do this with a PC it can cause the hard drive to fail if you ever decide to mount it any other way. Will setting my Mini on it's side hurt anything inside the box?

I've used every MacBook Air since it was originally released, and I still use an 18-month-old Air for hours and hours every day," Paul Venezia reports for InfoWorld. "My last Air was top-of-the-line, with a dual-core 2.13GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, and the 128GB SSD, purchased in June 2009. I purchased a top-of-the-line [13-inch] model this time as well, bearing the same dual-core 2.13GHz CPU, but now with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage ($1,799 from the Apple Store). The difference in performance between the two is significant -- and that's saying something." "It has the oomph to handle just about every general-purpose task you can throw at it while weighing in at less…

DigiTimes briefly reports that an executive from Sintek Photronics has denied claims from late last week that the company has shipped samples of touchscreen panels to Apple for testing in a touch-capable iMac. Rumors and an Apple patent application have suggested that the company is at least toying with the idea of a touch-capable iMac. While it is unclear whether Apple would attempt to create a fully touch-capable Mac OS X, it has been suggested that the company could instead offer iOS as layer on top of Mac OS X, allowing both operating systems to coexist on the same machine. Apple's newly revised MacBook Air borrows design cues from iPad to deliver an even lighter and smaller design, with higher resolution displays and long battery life. The new Airs also have more ports that are easier to access and hit price points that make it difficult for buyers to choose between the new models and the existing entry level MacBook, and the faster and more expandable MacBook Pros. The 11 and 13 inch MacBook Air models themselves are difficult to choose between, with the lighter, smaller model offering a few weaker aspects than its larger 13 inch sibling: a slightly slower CPU and system bus, smaller SSD options, and a lower resolution screen. However, …
