Hi everyone, I'm not certain this is the right forum for me but I am really frustrated right now with Hotmail and customer support from Microsoft and I am looking for help or advice. I completely forgot my password to Hotmail (moving to South Korea form Canada...these things happen). I kept trying to access Hotmail with the result that I am now locked out. I have made five different requests to customer suppport over the last three days and I have had no response. I've tried to access the hotmail help forum on the microsoft site but I have to sign in with the hotmail username and password and, well...I am locked out of my hotmail account so I am unable to sign in. Hi Everyone I am an electrical contractor, that has limited knowledge on computers.....have done Cat5E wiring courses, cabinets and points...unbeatable way to connect! Also have an Amateur Radio license although not on air at the moment.... used to build my own computers, in the 286 days so understand the construction area perhaps, never really got into programming... used to be able to create a network until windows 10...which seems to now have stopped me transferring files from laptop to PC..!

I have been involved with computers since the 70s when I was doing literature searches on remote scientific databases in Frascati in Italy and Derby in the USA - connection time £90/hour. I continued to be involved right up 2010 when I finally retired. Now I am very out of date and rusty so please excuse in silly questions.

Hi, I just picked up an older Mac Mini (upgraded to Lion 300GB Drive and 2 gig memory). I am a long time PC user first Computer was a Radio Shack Color Computer followed by numerous DOS and Windows PCs. I have tried Linux from time to time but was unimpressed. I am pleasantly surprised by the speed and performance of this older Mac Mini. I got off to a poor start trying to set it up to look like a Windows PC. I am now trying to start thinking Like a MAC user. Wish me luck Between my wife and I we have one Windows XP machine 2 windows 7 machines 2 iPod touches And now a Mac Mini RSW

Like Grinder, I am Organgrinder and happy to tell you why. My job was Grinding table knives and other implements and I also played the organ and entertained in pubs etc. I have used computers since the 80's when I had a Speccy and then a beautiful Commodore Amiga, and now use an Acer all in one so I am reasonably knowledgeable but don't claim to be an expert. Have now made an aquaintance with Windows 10 (not by choice) and I am always happy to carry on learning so hence my joining this Forum.

I'll be first to introduce myself to anyone that happens along. My name is Bob Schwarz and I am the owner of this community as well as a few other which are all a part of Schwarz Network. I am an avid Microsoft supporter and also a beta tester of Microsoft software. I like to be on the bleeding edge so I will run the betas as my main software. In doing so I learn a lot.
