Hello everyone. So glad I found this site. I have had my mac mini for many years and I can honestly say I have never had any problems with it. I have never even used the start-up disc and I don't know where it is. I guess it is time to learn more about my mini because I am having trouble. I will post on the Help forum. Yep, it was far cheaper to get an HP laptop with the Adobe CS4 suite via an educational package than to get a new Mac laptop so I did. 18 year Mac veteran (I'm an art director) but now also using Vista. So far, I love it. Best advice I've had... disable auto-updates from Microsoft.. Vista for Dummies is awesome (as is AskWoody.com, the author) I've had zero problems. Best thing about Vista (working in Windows) for me so far? The free apps like FileZilla that work 100% perfectly and provide what I need instead of having to buy numerous small apps. Hello everyone

My pc CPU Type: Intel Q9450 HDD Capacity: 500 GB Memory : 4GB DDR2 800 Mainboard: Asus P5N-D Video Card: Nvidia 9800GTX + 512M Case: Antec Nine Hundred Power Supply: ATX 600W It does not come with a OS, i have both XP and Vista installation discs. Greetings Long time Mac user, 1998. Service computers, camped in a data center in down town atlanta ga. Just got a mini server, today in fact. I have a mini mac PowerPC G4. Here is the question I would like to get an answer to. I want to migrate the applications from the G 4 mini to the server and then, and I know i am wasting resources. Use the server just for home, Quicken burn some Itunes for the hotrod and store my photos and other miss type of stuff. A. I think I need to boot the G 4 in the shared CD mode; then using the disk utility run migration, for my home folder and applications. I believe this will bring over the libraries also ...... is that correct …
