Hello everyone my name is John, I'm 18 and from Northern Ireland. I joined here to help solve a network problem I have as I am not very good with the hardware side of things. I do however have a good knowledge of software and that sort of thing. So I hope to hang around the forums, get to know some people, solve some problems and get my own solved. :D

Hi guys, my problem is probably a fairly simple one but I cannot seem to find a solid solution. I recently bought a new PC, this is now the households second computer. On this network there is the already existing computer, a laptop and a xbox 360. We have a BT home hub 2.0 which supports all these. Now I want to add my new computer to the network, how do I do it? I cannot do it wirelessly with the current setup so do I need a second router? Or do I just need a ethernet cable to save buying another router? I will answer any questions to help specify the solution and hopefully solve the problem. Thanks. -John
