hi starbuck i followed your instructions last night, have just switched on and it was perfect, thank you, gosh i am so thick i cant even put an avatar on ha ha

shutting down problem thanks again Dalo i do put pc to sleep and switch off at the wall cos i got pc plugged into a 5 plug extension socket and switch off in case of fire i will switch off properly from now on have a good day

Hi Dalo this is a new hp g56 windows 7 from pc world .I switch off by the sleep button and then switch off at the wall,

every morning when i switch on my computer (changed pc to windows 7) it comes up with windows did not shut down properly and i have to choose an option and wait until it sorts itself out any ideas why this happens its a brand new pc
