  1. I managed to sort the problem, I had to remove the jumper, infront of the battery, from pins 1+2 to pins 2+3, left for 30 seconds then returned the jumper back to 1+2. Boots up just fine now, hope this helps someone else in future
  2. Hope you guys can help ! I kept getting a CMOS error message on boot-up, I searched the internet and came to the conclusion that I need to change my CMOS battery. I bought a replacement and fitted it today ...... problem now is that the screen does not even receive a signal from the computer, the fans kick in but I do not hear the hard drive ...... what have I done ??? The only thing I can think of is that the battery was out for approx 24hrs, does this matter, I have checked all the cables and no problems on that side. Any help would be appreciated
