  2. first of all hello people :) hell of a long time since ive been on a forum lol heres my problem searched for similar before posting but had no luck basically i have had a PC running xp home edition for around 4 years now Pentium 4 3.33 ghz procesor 512mb ddr ram gigabyte p4 titan mobo and a 256mb ati graphics card on a agp 8x slot quite recently decided to build by self a media centre with it my upgrades where a new 512mb ddr3 agp 8x graphics card with full hdmi 1080p compatability 2 sticks of good quality ram totalling it now to 1.5gb a terabyte hd and a nice new case all is working fine plays anything i will throw at it. now the oroblem i am now faced with is related to the audio i have got the video signal and sound running through the hdmi lead which is working fine, however the front and rear standard audio ports (front came with new case) refuse to acknowledge any signals going in to them, im a keen dj and normally record my sets on to pc before posting up online etc i have tried and tried with no avail to fix this and its driving me crazy, i would like to keep audio going through hdmi and be able to record with the line in / aux please please be kind and help me out lol before i go crazy
