Well I was offline for a while and bought an iMac in the interim ! Nevertheless a new PSU fixed the Windows machine. A further check with all usb connectors removed and just leaving screen attached allowed normal boot so I correctly assumed the PSU was on its way out. Thanks

May be PSU issue hence posting here. Have Win 7 64 bit Quad Core PC. PC starts to boot and then stops showing detail of bios company, processor, memory and then shows two options F2 Set Up [bios] and F11 Boot Up neither of which work. Have changed CMOS battery and did manage to get into Bios at one point with F2 after which PC booted and I used for about an hour then turned off and when I next came to use it the problem had returned. Could this be a failing PSU ? All fans seem to turn and DVD drive is powered. Thanks for any thoughts !:confused:
