I've got this working now litterally by placing the driver files into C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color the reason why i believed it was for Windows 7 is because if i try to right-click and select 'Install Profile' it won't allow it also when opening the .icm it says Windows...7 hehe

The correct color profile for your monitor is typically placed as an .ICM file in the \WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color\ directory when you install your monitor drivers. Your monitor drivers are usually contained on the driver CD which came with your monitor. If you haven't installed these already, I strongly recommend you do so now, and if necessary, manually search for the correct .ICM file and place it in the directory mentioned above. Recently i threw my Monitor Driver disc away could somebody get back to me with all the driver contents from the disc or just the Windows XP drivers for it. I'd appreciate this as i've tried the LG website but it's discontinued and only have the Windows 7 Driver or atleast the .icm inside the archive also tried Windows Update but it's not listed.
