I am considering getting the ASUS EAH6950 DCII/2DI4S/2GD5 Radeon HD6950 2GB PCI Express 2.1 x16 Video Card. Retail Box. it should work well with the Asus motherboard in my system right? Also I really would like not to pay 199.99 retail for win 7 oem, any recommendation on where to shop? I have seen some "deals" like 90$, but am concerned i will get a dell-like reinstall disk.

Hi RL sorry for the long wait, I have been working multiple shifts. [ATTACH=CONFIG]504.vB5-legacyid=1123[/ATTACH] It is a standard Reinstall disk for my old Dell. It does say to only install on a dell. And it is just one disk.

I have been trying to install my old xp re-installation disk on new pc. Its not working. What must I do to start using os? My new Barebones came prebuilt as follows: AMD Six Core 4.0GHz Overclocked Barebone PC from Tiger Direct Cooler Master HAF 922 Chassis ASUS M4A89GTD PRO Mobo AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM CoolIT ECO A.L.C. Liquid Cooling ULTRA 750W PSU no HD and a limited built-in video board on mobo. Just purchased 2t green seagate sata 6 5900rpm HD. XP re-install started to install and gets 33% through before crashing. I have tried connecting new HD via sata connections and tried connecting an old 180g HD from a computer I took apart. I really dont know where to go from here but I cant wait to learn how to get started enjoying my new PC! Please Advise...
