  1. Hi Randy Sorry, I didnt explain that very well. The chap from Dell suggested I get a SATA cable to transfer the files over. That works as far as me having access to the hard drive, and from the capacity, I know the files are there. I just can't seem to locate them, and all the files I open are empty. I had a simple user password on the computer, and am wondering if this is why I cannot access them, as there is no way for me to enter it? Any advice would be most appreciated.
  2. Hi all, and I was wondering if anyone could help me? I had a broken hard drive, and replaced it and have recently brought a SATA converter, as advised by the Dell engineer, to retrieve my files. I plug it in OK, and it seems to pick it up, but all the files are empty? I had a uder password on the account, and I am wondering if this is why, but it never gives me an option to enter one. Would anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
