Thanks for answering. The screen has the LG logo and then a small square that says power saving mode and then goes blank. There are no noises at all. I'll try the F8 but like you say the keyboard isnt responding at all, no lights from the Cap lock or Num lock. Cheers :)

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help. We had to have the electric switched off for about 15 mins earlier today. I didnt think about shutting down the PC and now it starts but the screen wont and the keyboard is dead too. Any ideas what I can do to fix the problem? I've swithed it off and back on but obviously thats what caused the problem in the first place so as expected there's no difference. Thanks :)
