  1. 1. I have used CCleaner 2. I don't really know what to put here, so here's the information I think may be more important: Computer Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition OS Service Pack Service Pack 3 DirectX 4.10.0.5515 (DirectX 10) Computer Name HOME-B6C60B4839 User Name Thorbard Motherboard CPU Type 2x Intel Pentium III Xeon, 2500 MHz (2.5 x 1000) Motherboard Name Unknown Motherboard Chipset Unknown System Memory 3328 MB BIOS Type Award Modular (05/28/08) Communication Port Communications Port (COM1) Communication Port Printer Port (LPT1) Display Video Adapter NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT (1024 MB) Monitor ViewSonic VX922 [NoDB] (PXU061634223) Multimedia Audio Adapter Realtek HD Audio output Storage IDE Controller Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller IDE Controller Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller IDE Controller Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller Floppy Drive Floppy disk drive Disk Drive ST3320620AS (298 GB, IDE) Optical Drive ASUS DRW-2014S1 Optical Drive DTSoftBusCd00 SMART Hard Disks Status OK Partitions C: (NTFS) 49999 MB (10288 MB free) D: (NTFS) 255235 MB (92694 MB free) Total Size 298.1 GB (100.6 GB free) 3. No, I yet haven't looked inside 4. When it freezes, then it just stops at whatever the monitor is displaying at the moment 5. I do have a Windows XP installition disk
  2. I have this very specific problem with my computer, that every time when I open up the "My Computer" from the start menu, or (if I'm lucky) manage check properties of my hard disks, or try to do anything on there, my PC decides to freeze. Now I had a problem earlier, that when I used my computer for more than some minutes, it just froze, but I got rid of this after repairing some registry errors and deleting some unnecessary files and spyware. But this problem still remains. I can play games, use programs and use the internet fine, though. I use Windows XP Home Edition with service pack 3.
