works in media player, cant put in a cd or dvd it blew up, thats for another topic later on. Yeah runescape the game.clicked on the volume to justin,tv and youtube as well

the option "Fix non-working system sound" was not there nbut i did chek every other option

when i right click the volume thing on the bottom right and choose sound,none of those sounds work but are enabled,when i test it does not work

I did not get that option shown,i have codec tweak tool 4.9.5 unless im in the wrong area

Thanks for the reply, i tried it out, the settings were a bit different but it said a few things under fixes and tried them all. Said "detect and remove broken vfw/acm codecs,directshow filters, reregister base directshow filters and fix broken sound(midi,waveout) Restarted the computer and still no luck

not sure what i did but i got no more sound on jtv and youtube.It works on runescape. I did the restore to a previous point,looked for audio driver updates,removed and reinstalled them Not sure whats happening here I made sure the browsers ive tried were up to date and flash too http://www.computerhope.com/forum/Smileys/classic/cry.gif windows vista, if u ask for more computer info please let me know how to find it for you. thanks
