Hi, I mistakenly bought an Acer machine with no OS. So I bought a new Windows 7 home premium disk. I went through the whole install bit until it came to where do you want to install. 2 options, partition 1 - with FreeDos on it and unallocated space. Partition 1 is only 4gb. There are no option on the unallocated space. So I thought I would try to install on the unallocated space, but get a message saying 'Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks. Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space. Windows must be installed to a partition as NTFS.' What do I do? Do I format the whole thing, but I am worried I will then have nothing on there at all. HELP :(
