As far as I know a virus can't survive that unless the same virus/ other viruses found their way into your factory reset drive(don't know if you have one of these).
From my experience, PC Doctor isn't the greatest. Go to: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security_essentials/default.aspx and download this and use it first to run a quick scan; then a full scan. I had some viruses that were taking up processes making me freeze then I found that out.
If I were you I would look into a cooling fan to see if that helps before opening the sucker up(which would probably, depending on the warranty, void it)
is this a good computer for the price? http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/CyberpowerPC-Gamer-Ultra-GUA106-AMD-Athlon-II-X2-3.2GHz-Gaming-Computer/5696424/product.html?cid=123620
I plan on using the computer for StarcraftII
My graphics card is onboard? I thought it was one you pop in/pop out. Last I opened my case thats what I thought I saw anyway.
I plan on building my own computer when I get into some more money anyways. Do you have any tips on what to get? Guess I'll just wait for it. Thanks for your time anyway :)
I'm trying to figure out if the XFX ATI Radeon HD 4850 1GB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HD MI PCI-Express Video Card Hd 485xznfc is compatable with my computer. I plan on upgrading for gaming purposes only. My specs are:
Manufacturer- Hewlett-Packard Company
Model- SR5613WM
Processor- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.30 Ghz.
Memory- 2.93 GB (ram)
System- 32-bit
I'm also planning on eventually upgrading my CPU if its necessary; what kind of CPU should I get and why?
Thanks in advance for helping with this.
