I hope I'm putting this in the right place.
I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-50, with Windows XP home edition. I tried to install a display adaptor driver, but I got an error message to try to run in Standard AGP mode (or something like that). When I next booted into Windows, the display went black when Windows loaded. I have tried booting into Safe Mode, but it gets stuck at AGP440.sys and if I leave it a while, the computer shuts down.
I have tried using the Windows instalation disk, recovery console, but it asks for an administrator password. As far as I know, there is no password, but I have tried pressing Enter, but that does not work.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
I could just install windows again, but it has Jaws on it, and I'll lose one of the Authorisations.
