You might want to think about giving your computer a good full scan with Malwarebytes Free in safe mode and normal mode http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

Just right click and open with powerISO then it will open up with the selected program ;-) Once you have it burned to a CD make sure you run a couple of tests. Let us know how you get on

It's not quite that simple these days, Yes you uninstall from programs & features but to remove all remnants of the software you need the McAfee Uninstall Tool. -
Power Supply and New Graphics Card
Makcalable replied to odunican's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Power Supply: 450W Quiet Dual Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan = I would Say at least 650W Processor Cooling: STANDARD CPU COOLER = Maybe something like a CL-P0497 CPU Cooler -
First thing to do is vist the Graphics Card's Vendor's website and make sue that you have the latest Drivers installed. Also check the Device manager for any obvious issues with drivers. Have you tried this using just 1 Graphics card with the 1 monitor to see if the issues persist? Is your power supply powerful enough to cope with the 2 Graphics cards abd 4 monitors? Try Uninstalling Jave completly and then re installing it..... Note that there were Driver quality issues between Nvida & ATI/Java, there are fixes for this on there website, see link below... However, I do believe that the issue has been resolved apparently. There have been many issues between Nvidia/ATI and Java in the past and present, You will need to take a look at the Documentation on the release notes at Oracal.com http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/6u10-142936.html It is also possible it could be memory issue so have you ran several memory tests using memtest86 and or switching your Ram about.

Ok for the F5D7051 Wireless G Plus USB Adapter latest drivers see here http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3029/~/f5d7051-wireless-g-plus-usb-adapter---software-and-drivers Now for your router have you tried to reset it by holding in the reset button for around 20 seconds while switched on and leave it for 5 minutes to regulate. you may need to find the ethernet controller driver too. I hope I am understanding you here.... you have been using the wireless adaptor but now reverted back to the router??

Wired Computer causes router wireless failure
Makcalable replied to bobbit's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Have you tried replacing your filters? http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x339/makcalable/images-2.jpg How many filters do you have? Make sure the filter is directly connected to the BT socket and then the phone line and router line connected to the filter. See Here http://documentation.netgear.com/dg834pn/enu/208-10019-01/DG834PN-2-09.html -

Any good computer monitoring software?
Makcalable replied to Casa's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Apologies for double post. Hi casa I have looked over the internet for a good free Keylogger and to be honest there weren't many, the best free one I could find is this one here http://osxdaily.com/2010/10/01/free-keylogger-for-mac-os-x-logkext/ If this one doesn't suit you then I would suggest you opt in to purchase the one you had mentioned in you first post. -
Any good computer monitoring software?
Makcalable replied to Casa's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Oh ... apologies I must have misread what you said ;-) There are many pretty good Keyloggers out there "FREE" and paid, but the one you had mentioned is not FREE but Is a very good piece of software... It also has some good reviews too... Quick description below; "Amac Keylogger for Mac OS X not only logs keystrokes, web sites and screenshots as general keyloggers for Mac do, but also record Passwords typed on Mac and track IP Address of the Mac. With Log Email sending feature, you can access all the logs generated by Amac Keylogger for Mac with any device that you can receive Emails. FTP uploading is also available for users who want to receive Amac Keylogger for Mac logs by FTP." Can be Found here amackeylogger.com There is also the "FREE" & "Paid" versions - Aobo Keylogger is an invisible Mac OS X keylogger with email and FTP support. I am unable to get the link for as I am currently at work... And we are monitored like children too LOL Now you do have a MAC don't you? ;-) I can provide some links shorlty but not right now ;-) -
I'm not sure... I suppose you could run a couple of things that might correct this issue you have but I doubt it; System File Checker = Open Command Prompt As Administrator & Type sfc /scannow Hit enter The System File Checker will look for any system files/.dll file's that are corrupt and will attempt to fix these normally following a re start of your computer. Check Disk = Start > Type in Search Box > chkdsk Hit enter Chkdsk analyzes the physical structure of a disk to make sure that it is healthy and It can repair problems related to bad sectors, lost clusters, and directory errors. These types of problems can be caused in many different ways ie. System crashes or freezes, power glitches, incorrectly turning off a computer can also cause corruption in the system files etc.. The system restore option is the most sensible and easiest way to try and resolve this issue.

please help my iq500 it wont start
Makcalable replied to tukan13's topic in Tech Support & Discussions Forum
Ok firstly is it still under warranty? If so contact HP Does this happen in Safemode too? Now this does seem to be a common issue with the touchsmart IQ500... it has something to do with the power supply "connections" not sure what the full details are but I have seen this issue before. For a tempary fix.... try holding down the power button in until it starts to show life in the screen you may have to do this a few times for it to work. But my advice is to contact HP about your issue as I think this is a common fault they are aware of. -
You are just restoring to before you made the changes that made your icons go missing, it will put your system back to the way it was at that point and you wont lose anything only things you added after the point of the restore you choose ;-)
