I have a Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows 7. Recently I have been having problems with audio, e.g. plugging in headphones doesn't cut the speakers. I've made changes in settings and now I want to reset the preferences. What is the easiest way to do this? Is there something I need to uninstall and reinstall? If so, what? Do i need to reset the settings for Windows 7 or for the sound card? I have the IDT HD Sound sound card
