Older pc's Thanks for your reply's, i had an idea it was going to be 512mb for reasonable use, not fast, i had seen the MS requirements, but wanted to see if anyone was actually doing anything similar with an older machine, thanks for your input. Dave.

Hi to you all. Iam a new member with some, i would say intermediate experience. what i am looking to try is to see if windows XP home edition will run on a Dell Dimension XPS T450 pentium 3 . Ive looked into it and inital searches surgests it will. My question is what do experienced members think, its a curiousity for me, the Dell Dimension is original spec, i know some upgrades might be required, HDD size memory etc, but i would like to stick with the 450mhz cpu speed. Any idaes appreciated. Dave.
