Hi Guys,
I'm really sorry if this has already been asked, and if it has could someone post me a link to the solution thread, if not....
I'm running the following system and am trying to install a further 4gb RAM but I'm experiencing a reboot loop:
Advent Centurion Ci 5231 - Desktop Gaming PC
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
BIOS Date: 08/23/10 08:07:39 Ver: 08.00.15
IntelĀ® Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Graphics:
ATI Radeon HD 5570
Internal DAC(400MHz)
Display Memory: 3823 MB
Dedicated Memory: 1012 MB
Shared Memory: 2811 MB
The PC came with 2 x 2GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz Modules made by ASint
I have purchased 1 x 4GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz module made by Integral
I've tried every combination of the RAM in the 4 slots on board however the maximum I can get running is 6GB (the 4GB and a 2GB). As soon as I add the final module, Windows only loads so far and then goes into a reboot loop. I've tried it in safe mode and it recognises the full 8GB but in normal mode it just keeps crashing.
I'm going slightly out of my mind here, and any help would be MUCH appreciated!
