  1. to get a clean h/d you need to go into the BIOS and navigate to BOOT and change the boot up sequence from h/d to cd rom press f10 to save & exit now place your xp disc into the cd rom & start the computer & follow the onscreen instructions , windows will now perform a format & a clean installation, hope this is of some help to you.   2. i have now found the problem,it was the power pack, i installed a bigger P.S.U. and it did the trick

  4. I am hoping someone can help me with a problem on my pc. I have just bought a 3.5" internal card reader which connects to the high speed USB plug on the motherboard (intel pentium4 2.4 gig running xp pro) when i connect this card reader the system freezes and a caption pops up saying that my new usb hub has exceeded its power limit. i dont know what this means ,can anyone expain to me.
