The Problem Turned Out To Be A Missing Driver Which Was Eventually Found On Realtek's Website. ok I did do eventually out of frustration lol I then had to unzip files etc but i found it this is what it says under multimedia: windows audio PCI/PnP audio ACM VCM

I did download this (free) and it took me to another site which told me I had 5 out of date drivers (see above for 4 of them) but to download the new updates then I had to pay for them
