thank you, my email account on MS outlook is set up in IMAP but it does not show any of the folders ?

I would be grateful for any advice please. First post on this site. I have an aol email address which I access through internet explorer. I would now like to use MS outlook to organise all my emails. The problem is that I have many folders of emails on my aol account, can I transfer these to MS Outlook so that I can refer to them.
