  2. Hi I have tried i went on live chat with bit defender and they told me to download the bit defender uninstall program tried it but it didnt work. yes it is a full legal windows 7 64bit disk. do you recommend removing the files? Its not that im running out of space o C drive because i have over 900gb of free space on it....i think its because i have no room on E drive
  3. I no longer have the bit defender anti-virus so the files on the drive are rendered pointless being on the there I have contacted bit defender and there investigating the problem but can you give me any advice? thanks
  4. Hi welcome to yet another one of my problems with my pc that i hope there is some one out there who knows the answer to my problem. Im having trouble with installing a new fresh windows 7 The option I chose was "do not get the latest updates for installation" but when I try to continue it says select where you want to install windows. I choose C:\ drive because its my main Hard-disk drive I click next and it says "Setup was unable to use the existing system partion because it does not contain the required free space" But i have a 1tb hdd of over 931gb of free space with windows 7 pre installed on it. Please note that my "System reserved drive E:\" is totaly full it has a capacity of only 100mb. the files on E drive are bit defender anti-virus files the names of these files are: The icons are blanked out sort of... The files: Bdr-conf Bdrescue A rar file that says...Bdrescue it contains a blank file. Bdrescue.mbr Bdrescue.vm All of these files are blank and are quite large Any clue whether its safe to remove them off the "system reserved drive" please help thanks
  5. Ok yes thank you very much for your help thought it was going to be something more serious very glad to know its just the OS on there thank you!! :)
  6. "This wasn't what I was asking. Have you altered the System Reserved partition at any time? Allocated the letter E:\ to it ?" No I wouldn't know how to but I'm not the only one who uses the computer so there could be a possibility of someone changing it yes. is there any way to change it back? do you know
  7. "Did you allocate the Drive Letter or has it always been E:\ ?" no its always been kept the same the drive became full when i booted in safemode for some reason
  8. No i think E has always been empty to my knowledge at least it was never full anyway

  15. Hi Im having trouble with my E drive (its a system reserved drive). its full but windows says there are no files in there but I only have 404kb left in the drive for some reason I have no idea what its full with...should I just format it if it contains no files. my operating system is stored on C drive. but it became full when I booted in safemode to install anti-virus it became. I'm thinking of doing a full system restore to see if that would solve the problem. It keeps popping up in windows "E" drive is full. its not slowing down my computer or Giving me any problems but I just want to know why its full and what its full with. the E drive is a Hard-disk drive Any help would be greatly appreciated ;)
