  1. Hi Guys,I had a look at a new PC,and under specs it had,2D/3D video card.No further information. How does one tell how how good or bad this card is,or even if it suitable, for Vista? ON my present PC,I have Nvidia Ge-Force 6200,which is nothing special. How do they compare? Thanks.
  2. Seem similar on a Bicycle, but never on a Motorcycle. First few seconds blurry. This Guy is good.:) YouTube - motorcycle stunts
  3. Wolfey,I had this same problem with another site, and complained no end. Site owner kept saying it's your ISP,nothing on our end.Eventually other members admitted slowness also.He updated his servers and no problems since.Might find your servers are slow. If I can access any number of sites in seconds and FPCH takes 4 times as long,I honestly doubt it's on my end. Will not mention this further.
  4. Hi Pete, All seems more even now.I am not experiencing any change or slowness after a long period, like I was before.Appreciate you staying with this problem I had.Off Topic. The only thing that is annoying me is the slow download time of this site, compared to like sites.I have ADSL2 and 4000+ bs/s so I shouldn't be experiencing this, but something I have to live with. This has been discussed at some lengh but not convinced it's on my end. Thanks again for everybody's help.
  5. Point taken Rob. We may never get agreement, but Members and Techies discussing different Security Programs,we learn what combinations work best. I will start a new thread in the Security Forum, and look forward to everybody's input.
  6. Good point,Maynard.I have read over and over again,it is acceptable to run only one Antivirus, and multiple Antispyware applications if one wishes. Also not to scan straight after one another.Would be helpful if we knew which of these security Programs runs a true Antivirus,so they dont conflict with one another.Securing our systems, is of utmost importance.IMO.Thanks.
  7. Wondering what Test site is considered to be most credible.Have quoed Test reslults in the past,Maynard, and many times have got the reply,Oh that test site isn't the most credible,as they test for different things in the one product.Hence my Question. Read earlier NOD32 produced 6 false positives in one Test. By the same Test Site, Avast returned either 3 or 5 false positives. I run a HI-Jack log recently and Kapersky gave a false positive,so which Antivirus have you Tech Guys found the most effective? Thanks. Hope this is the right Forum to ask this question.:)
  8. I use Antivir Personal Classic, with full time guard. Why isn't this Antivirus on the list? Quite popular. Had Avast, but hated the look of it, and the navigation, wasn't as simple as some others. Also had AVG,which I wasn't impressed with it's abilities.
  9. Wolfey would get cold,CCM.if you shaved him.Not a pretty site.:D:D http://i28.tinypic.com/f3dsg8.jpg http://i28.tinypic.com/wtx4di.jpg
  10. Excellent functional gift, for Wolfey,Maynard,as a reward for all his hard work at Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help. Get the Gift rewired, so it only works on fast. Hope Mrs Wolf, has a Video camera, and uploads to UTUBE. Must see Footage.http://i26.tinypic.com/2mgplhh.gif
  11. This cracked me up.What will they think of next??? :D:D Don't think it would help my damaged spine, though. YouTube - Ellen with her Hawaii Chair
  12. Hi Johnny, and Welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.:)
  13. No problems Wolfey.Just being friendly so if it did happen,I wouldn't feel as though, it was Hi-Jacking. My issue has been solved, and I understand where your coming from.:)
  14. I ran SAS for 15 mins and these are the figures.I'm happy. If anyone else thinks they may have a heat problem,by all means, you are welcome to post in this thread.:) http://i29.tinypic.com/28typtv.png
  15. Update. Well I tried types of Fan cooling sizes, right up to 40 cm (15") in size and made no difference really.Pulled other side panel off as well. Cleaned out Tower again with air and a brush.Unclipped CPU fan and heatsink, and found the white thermal paste dry and hard.Cleaned with Metho, bought some new grease and applied. Can't find Tower Side panel as I put it somewhere so I wouldn't lose it.LOL.After 2 tests of 15 odd hours this is the reading now which it is staying around.I just feel better theTMPIN2 is lower than previous, graph I posted. Will not bother to find cover, and put back on, if it stays around these figures. Thanks Guys, for you help, and I am still amazed, how quick members problems are attended to.Keep up the good work. http://i29.tinypic.com/1yssqh.png
  16. Wolfey's place at meal time.:D:D http://i31.tinypic.com/2yozvc0.gif
  17. Hi, and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.:)
  18. Yeah,if you walked out of the tent, for a Toilet break,in the dark, you would get shock, although short.:D
  19. Would not feel comfortable sleeping in these Tents. http://i28.tinypic.com/akfp6f.jpg
  20. Will give all these ideas a try. I have so many fans in the shed, all sizes, but not a household fan,so will try a few combinations. Thanks Guys and will check back when I run all these tests.
  21. That's what I was thinking, Maynard.Cases are designed to have the sides on to get max circulation. Latest tests show system within limits but the TMPIN 2 slot is still running at 58c which is a worry.Same before I fitted the new Ram in that slot today. It's in firmly and the 2 white plastic holding clips are in place.Even with the cover on I'm sure it will have no bearing on this 1 slot. Will take another test and put the side on and see any difference.I have plenty of Fans that I have pulled out of huge copiers,so I will pick one with about 3500 and train it on the Mother Board where the Ram Sticks are. If that makes little difference then I will just have to bear with this till something gives up.Thanks for your advice, much appreciated.
  22. Hi Pete, will do these tests. Bought 2 x 1 GIG DDR 400 sticks of ram today; and put them in.ATechy ages ago left the side off.He said it would run cooler. Will also replace side, and take some readings.Sorry,I was late responding to your Post.
  23. Thanks,Wolfey. Loading the site is quick, just when I hit refresh, which I do often,it seems to take longer than normal. Whereas 4 other sites I tried, about 2 seconds.FPCH takes around 6 seconds time after time.No worries,I can live with it.Thought worth mentioning.
  24. I saw a funny side to the article,CCM.But us OZZIES,have a weird sense of humour.:D
  25. Hi Guys,I am finding the time to refresh, up to 4 times slower, than like sites.Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?
