Hi guys, I am having no luck with option you have given me, I burnt cope of windows recovery disc and copy of isolate ( remember from friends laptop ) then have placed in tray in of tower after powering up and it will not run either of them. I am at a total loss. I called the manufacters ie HP and explained fault as i did in first thread on this post and they said as pc is 5 years old and no longer under warranty it would cost me £260 !!!!!!!!!!! Please advise, could somone call me and then I can call you back? ??????? Regards Alfa155

I have burnt copy of 32 bit version as you mentuioned above and i will try in my faulty pc shortly, as i said it wont open up so when i put cd in drive will it load straight away ot what should i do ???? REgards alfa155

Hi, I went to link placed black cd r in tray and it asked me if iwanted to save, so I clicked to save and then it asked me where so I clicked cd tray on friends laptop remember as I cannot get onto my pc tower, it took about a minute to save, then last night tried on my of and no luck...

I have burnt copy onto cd , started up of then pressed esc it offers me 3 things 2 I made out were dvd / cd drives, chose one with cd in and it just went back to black page with writing giving me 4options again and 30 seconds to chose? ????

also, one other thing, im not that clued up that much about pc`s hence why i am on this helpful forum, if my pc is not loading up if i load cd in pc will it let me fix pc, and can someone run through with me what to do step by step please ???????????? regards alfa155

And just to check again if I use this I will not lose any files such as all music files and all photos saved on PC ?

Hi guys, I have a HP Pavillion pc tower, which is about 5 years' old. The problem is when I push power button on tower it opens up usual first up screen then windows so, but hen you hear the tower restarting and a black screen with writing comes up with ( we apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.) etc etc. It also gives me 5 options to restart pc, I have tried them all and I still end up with this page, what can i do to get my pc working properly again, as I am contacting you through my neighbours pc? ???
