I bought a new copy of WIN7 PRO and a SAMSUNG 1TB SATA HDD to replace a TOSHIBA 500GB HDD. I have 2 SATA HDD in my laptop. I had installed an OEM copy of WIN 7 home Premium 32 bit. I wanted to install the copy of WIN 7 PRO 64 bit in the SAMSUNG HDD, but got a mesage on screen telling me that I was running 32 bit. I formatted the HDD and installed the 32 bit. My question is: Can I make a clean installation of WIN 7 Pro 64 bit when running Win 7 32 bit? and What is the best way to transfer all my data from the old HDD to the new HDD?
