  1. I apologize for any confusion. The detailing forums I contribute to the answers are not just provided by staff but other contributors as well, so I thought I would get other opinions. I'll stick with CHF
  2. The only ref I can find in the Toshiba specs regarding 'player' Toshiba Express Media Player Microsoft Windows Media Player 10
  3. Music - web based FM radio, computer CD player, web based TV both music ans speech
  4. Is this the 'player > Audio Codec Realtek ALC250 < ?
  5. [...low speed playback like an older vinyl record at the wrong speed?] [so can you let us know which player you are having the problem in, and also which version it is. It could be a player problem rather than a drivers issue.] How can I find out what 'player' the system uses.
  6. I couldn't find the correct drivers on those links Would it be safe to 'uninstall' audio via CMD (devmgt.msc)shutdown > and then ''update' audio via CMD? Thought process (ChemE not an IT guy) is that if one of the files is corrupted this may fix it. Thanks for your time and patience ...
  7. I clicked on each individual audio >right clicked properties>update hardware (Auto) > it says I already have the latest version
  8. Tried that also it says "Sound, Video and game controllers" no other options
  9. ^^^Sound Device only option is 'scan for hardware changes > scanning plug and play hardware > then it goes back to Device Mgr
  10. Computers audio sounds occasionally like a battery that is losing power (Toshiba Satellite M65 S809 - Win XP) Thank you for any help
