I'm attempting to block my daughter from Facebook (uncommon right?) :D I've edited the hosts file a few times and it's worked successfully. 127.0.0.1 facebook.com However, it seems that the file is being overwritten. She got access again last night, and the last modified date was about 2 weeks ago. When I edit it, I use notepad, open as Administrator and use the password she doesn't know. Yet, still it is overwritten. Is it possible it is being overwritten by a virus scan? She has Micro$oft Home Essentials... Thanks,
