Hello. My screen goes white intermittently on starting my pc. There is also a noisy 'whirring' from the pc - fan? disc drive? It generally clears if I turn off and on again. This pc is less than a year old and the problem has come in the last few weeks. I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I have run sfc/scannow, with no problems reported. Not sure whether this is purely a hardware problem, or also software, as there seem to be so many 'white screen' problems posted online. Any help gratefully received, Simon
