Hi everyone - I am Liz and I am retired, in my 70's and, although I am quite proficient in Word Processing. I am quite clueless with music downloading and using my ipod, which was bought for me 3 years ago and I have hardly used. However this is my new project hence my question today in the software section. I do think you experienced 'techies' are so kind to answer questions from people like me. You are doing a great service to the community at large but especially for older people who have never had any formal computer skill training in school. A Big Thank-You to All

Is there any way you can transfer photos from ipod to iTune or computer without using extra software or is there a safe and free program I could download - I will only be doing this transfer once? I have tried downloading about four transfer tools which say they are free but none of them are and some only allow 4-6 photos in trial versions. I read, somewhere in the itunes help, that you can change the ipod to be used as an 'external disk' but I can't manage to set this up as described. Many thanks, in anticipation to anyone who can give me help in any of the above.
