  1. I ran the CHKDSK facility through command prompt on the recovery screen and although it said /P was an invalid parameter using r and f i managed to get it to run but it resulted in no change on boot up. I cant think of any sort of software i have downloaded recently that would come with malware but im sure its still possible. Ive ran out of ideas now, It is in warranty it looks like im going to have to take it to the manafacturer or shop I bought it Hopefully I can still recover data Any other suggestions are very welcome thanks Edit: From the microsoft data base and other websites it seems it may be a third party application that caused this problem is i cant delete anything recent due to the fact it wont boot in safe mode. im at a loss
  2. Hey guys! I am in serious need of help, I have had my Fujitsu Lifebook A series (AH531) now for only a few months and it has served my very well, the other day i went to turn my laptop on I was confronted with the dreaded blue screen of death, of which im very aware of. The screen in full reads as follows: "STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Errror} The verfication of a KnownDLL failed. system process terminated unexpectedly wi th a status of 0xc0000020 (0x00d1bcc0 0x00000000). The system has been shut down." I have tried startup repair, memory diagnostics, system restore, recovering system image, and booting a windows 7 install disc from DVD drive (which would not boot, an am unsure why) There is lots of important data on the laptop and I need it to work on anyway, so I need to know if anyone knows how to fix this? Note: It will not boot in safe mode. Any help will be hugely appreciated. Thanks
