hello, I am trying to install the original xp from my old comp(dell) to another comp with new hdd (hp). When I get to product key it says invalid. It is the correct key but I suspect dell have put a block on it, Is there any way round this? :confused: Cheers Mutahajar

Many Thanks Many thanks to both of you! I will try the usb option as I am pretty sure the dvd drive is dead. I have a password protected usb will that still work when trying to load onto the new hard drive? Will I need to get another usb pen drive? Hello, I am new here and this is my problem: I have an nx6110 and have just replaced th hard drive. I am trying to load XP home but I think my cd drive is out of action.
