  1. FIXED IT! You giving me that link to the bonjour service fix helped me figure it out. I had recently installed the Adobe Cs3 master collection. One of the programs in that pack uses a version of bonjour for its updates. I managed to do some google hunting and found a thread where they explained how to fix the exact same problem I was having. I never would have found it had you not put on me on the right track. Thank you so much for your help it is very much appreciated!
  2. Well when I was at staples they attempted to connect wirelessly. At which point I stopped them and said I was using a wired connection. But even using a wired connection they were able to connect just fine. I don't have itunes or bonjour service on the computer with the problem. I went ahead and tried to run the FixIt and it didn't seem to do anything. I then followed the instructions to do it manually and that didn't work either.
  3. This is what I got. Also thank you for the help. Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601] Copyright © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. 4. Ok, here is the run down. I have two computers in my house, both are wired ethernet connections running off of the same router. Both systems had been working fine with the internet for months. Now for some reason one computer will not connect to the internet. I have tried everything I know how to do. I have swapped cords reset the cable modem, taken the router out of the equation and plugged the not working computer strait into the modem all to no avail. I figured that something was wrong with the network adapter so I took the computer back to where I bought it. They hooked it all up and it worked perfectly for them. They restarted it a couple of times and it worked fine every time. At this point I know it has to be some kind of network setting of some kind. But since I know nothing about setting up networks I decided to seek some help. Can anyone help me figure this out? If it makes a difference the computer that stopped working was running windows 7 and the computer that is still working is running windows vista.
