hi thanks for your reply, i have not treid another monitor but i have tried a different graphics card and the problem no longer occurs. Assuming its the card or outdated drivers any ideas? thanks

Hello all hope you can help! I woke up this morning to turn on my computer to find that whe i reach the windows login screen only half of my screen seems to appear its not missing anything it just looks almost as if it has been squashed down i have tried looking in my display options but cant find a solution can anyone give me any ideas as to what this may be? Thanks!
