Uninstalled AGV but with no joy. Will continue to try and find problem. I think something is disabled on my browser

Hi RandyL The permission to delete Internet Explorer is needed from TrustInstaller and the route to it is. Compute >OS(C: ) > Programme Files. From the list of files I tied to delete Internet Explorer. I think all the computer files are here in this folder. I also had the idea that I.E. is part of the system put in on the HDDs before assembled into machines at software loading. I keep all deleted file in the recycle bin till I am sure their deletion is not going to affect the operation of the computer. Another problem I've noticed is.. If I do I Google search from my homepage BBC.CO.UK And click on the web site from that search. If I then use the back space button ( top of page on left side (not the backspace button on keyboard) to get back to the Google search page. It is blank so is the tab. AVG toolbar has been uninstalled completely still the image isn't appearing I will be uninstalling AGV Security and reinstalling it to see if that will solve the problem. Regards Martin

Hi all I have a signature of R.N.L.I. on a forum I use. It doesn't show up on my computer but does show on other member computers on the site. I am using I.E.9 and possibly ungraded up to I.E.11 by mistake thinking that would clear the problem but didn't. Also I done a reset and anything else I could think of but still not showing the image.Also notice if I enable AGV toolbar it works and disable the toolbar it doesn't. Installed Firefox and it works on my and other forum members computers. no problem with this browser. I am on Windows 7 using Dell Inspiron laptop I tried to delete I.E. browsers but could not find then on the programmes list to uninstall. I went further into the computer found the internet files but required permission to have then delete from a company I've never heard of. I think these files are in bedded in the HDD unlike the old way of on a disc. Any help appreciated Martin

Well it has got a key and a password It just to save me going a crross the road with my bad legs. usually i take the lap across to the house but have discovered i get a signal i do contrabute to the package across the road. The router is on the tv table and the signal is coming thru the wall straight inline to my laptop Martin

Hi all i am across the road from my relations and using their wifi signal. It is a weak signal but does get me on the net. Is there anything out there to boost the signal so i can get a better reception I am not on the net very much. Martin

After all the trouble as a above and not having YouTube play today I lost it and got rid of all the trash on my Dell l/t Also removed Google search Firefox (its nice prog)IE 9 and afte 4 hoursI've cracked it and don't ask me how. I've got IE 9 on my favourite bbc.co. hompage I've got google tool/search bar and all my videos working including YouTube also an its great I've even got the analogue clock working and showing the time. I could ave had this fixed ages ago if I was on XP with IE 7 cause you can do things there that can't be done on the IE 9/ Dell 64 bit cheers lads.

Hi all The Dell help centre ain't that great. They didn't know that Window 2000 32 bit couldn't load and operate on to a Dell Inspiron 64 bit. Cost lots of money to talk to them

Cheers for the help and I'll just have to work around what won't work and will. Eventually the old programmes will be updated or rewriting and work with win7. " If I click on it, it just closes will look into it further

If have tried that and have had no luck with it.. Also have noticed the AA route planner (Automobile Association in u.k.)only works in the older version but the RAC (Royal Automobile Club in U.K.) route planner runs o.k. on Win 7. I remember years ago I had to download some driver or a certain programme to run them on XP home I think I''ll give up on Ispell but as a last attempt will email them to see if there is a solution to the problem. Yes I know support is not that great but will try. l Let you know how I get on and any other programmes that don't want to operate on Win7 / and the Dell laptop. Martin

I have managed to download Google's earth and air as well as flasher player now. I did an uninstall of ispell and reinstalled it. Its in the programmes list but doesn't come up on right click on the page or under the Tools menu. I did a advance reset and things are o.k. The exception is my Amazon page will not show the **** star rating and submit button on package feedback. Although I can carry through the site to purchase an order successfully. I did for a moment see the ispell options under tools but when I clicked on to it, it disappeared. I had to download Google's Chrome to assist in the Google downloads and enable or prompt the Active files in the settings also I dropped my my firewall for 10 minutes. I used have the google spell checker, it aint too bad just got to get use to it. Thanks RandyL Martin

Hi RandyL It is in the programmes list and I have been using ispell for years on XP with my Dell Dimensions 1100 with no probs. Also I've uninsulated it and reinstalled it with no joy. I have used ispell on this reply and i think its a nice little programme. Still can't see the problem(s) in not getting the laptop to download the Google programmes. Followed your ispell link and got this page up. Does look like it is suitable for Win7 and I.E. http://www.iespell.com/download.php Martin

Hi all Ive downloaded ispell and can't get it to do a check. it should be under Tools or right click on the desktop but it doesn't show it there. No problem on my P.C. with XP home Also I can't download Google Earth or the street view Nothing happens when I click on the download button. Also my Amazon account doesn't show all of the page items. Like you do a feedback on the packaging and below that text box in a Submit button but it isn't there. Samsung P.C. Studio is loads to the program list but doesn't operate to. I would appreciate alll the help and sugestions offered. Many thanks Martin
