  1. Hi guys, I've been having this problem for a few days now, and it's quite irritating. Whenever I try to log onto windows live messenger or steam, or if I try to listen to music on media player (when the online store tries to connect), an error message comes up that states: "windows live messenger/steam/media player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". If I send or don't send the error report, the programs close. But if I just move the error message to the side, I can use the programs normally. I've tried running adaware, spybot and zonealarm's anti-virus program, and while they did clear away some spyware and a couple of trojans, the problem has persisted. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling both steam and live messenger, but no change. I tried performing a clean uninstall on the advice of a friend, which required me removing temporary internet files, but the disc cleanup manager reported the same error message when it tried to delete them. I'm afraid I'm not very computer literate, so I really have no idea what to try from this point. I'd appreciate any help you could offer. Thanks, -Kevin
  2. Hi guys, I've been having some problems with my PC, and since I know very little about computers, I just wanted to see if someone could give me a little help. Thanks! -Kevin
