Problem now solved. Turned out to be a problem with Chrome. I found it by accident when I noticed my wife was on ebay on the Vista PC. She had logged on with Explorer rather than Chrome which I use. I de-installed and re-installed Chrome and all is now OK. Thanks for your help Ken.

I am thinking of buying a netbook or compact laptop to use on holiday to watch live football in wifi zones. I could do with a bit of guidance as to what processing power and ram I will need to have to do this successfully. Most netbooks look to have an Intel Atom processor with 1gb of ram. Is this enough or should I spend a bit more to get a compact laptop? Many thanks for any help. Steve
