  3. Hi all I operate windows 8.1 with Google Chrome on an HP Envy23 desktop i have had my Envy all in one for a few years and it's worked pretty well but lately after booting up it sometimes is unresponsive for several minutes then eventually comes back to life. When it is unresponsive I can hear some activity is happening in background. I wonder if there is something I can do to prevent what is becoming annoying?#Thanks for your help. Ray

  11. Hi All Auto complete may be the wrong term but I'm talking about when I do a Google search. Everything I have searched for is saved so each search I make is stored and appears in blue whenever I click on search. although there is the facility to remove each item manually I'm getting flooded with dozens if not hundreds of previous searches. I have tried finding the solution in Google search and tried several options but it all leads to nowhere as when I go to Settings - advanced the suggested button to click 'passwords and settings is not there. only passwords. Hope someone can help please! Ray
  12. Hi Pete strangely the problem has stopped of it's own accord so while it stays that way will leave it be (won't fix what ain't broken!) lol But will keep your latest advice in mind if we have a relapse. Thanks Ray
