I already knew all that, all the computers that i am working with right now are Windows XP home and are all on the same workgroup. um, i tried to do this, http://71.79.130.34/123.jpg but when i put in a comptuer name and hit check name a login box pops up, i enter that computers admin username and password and it returns the error "The following error occurred while using the user name (pcname\username) and password you entered: access is denied."

My pc has Windows XP, yes i am the admin of it, and I put all the computers in my house on the same workgroup, then i went into admin tools on my computer and hit computer management. Then i hit connect to another computer and type in the computers name, but if i try to view the system info or change anything at all it just says access denied. Well, I am trying to become the admin of my home network, i have about 8 computers, every one that lives here has one lol. Anyways, most of the pc's are windows xp (one is Ubuntu one one is mac and one is windows 95), those are the main ones i want to work with right now I have them all on the same workgroup(WORKGROUP) but if i try to do anything it says I don't have permission. It looks like if i have permission i can restart all the pc's from my pc and change all their settings remotely. Thanks in advanced for any help.
