  1. Thanks for the reply. And no i haven't, how do i do this. My router is an Echolife HG 520b. I think it might be to do with the router as my smart tv seems to find it impossible to download programmes too.
  2. Hi, ,i have a sony Vaio which runs windows 7 home premium. It is around 9 months old and recently it keeps dropping the internet connection. I have talk talk connected wirelessly. When i look at the connection it says it is connected and shows the signal strength is fine. It will come back eventually but can be very frustrating. I had started to think if i shut down the connection and started again this seemed to help, but really the internet is available randomly, so it can seem like things help when they dont really. I tried searching for some solutions and saw someone suggesting pinging to see what is up with the connection. Just now when the connection dropped i tried this again and this is what i get Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601] Copyright © 2009 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. I really cannot figure out what is happening. Does this give any clues? Thanks for any help with this
